Lex Techker Advisory
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Who we are
Lex Techker Advisory is a modern legal, business and technology advisory firm serving founders and businesses. This draft explains how we handle personal data through our website and enquiries, with reference to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Our legal entity details, office address and final privacy arrangements must be confirmed before this draft is published. For privacy questions, contact privacy@lextechker.com (address awaiting confirmation).
What we collect
Enquiry information may include your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business or organisation, country, business stage, service interest, message, preferred contact method and consent record. Please do not send confidential documents or sensitive personal information through the form.
Hosting and security services may process technical information. Our first-party content counts retain an article ID, date, count and broad traffic-source category, without cookies or visitor identifiers. Lex-I counts retain only the page, date and count. Knowledge Hub searches retain only recognised business-topic vocabulary; names, email addresses, numbers, URLs and unknown terms are not logged; avoid entering personal information in search.
The enquiry form securely stores your details, the consent wording you accepted, the referring page and campaign attribution in Lovable Cloud. A hashed IP identifier is used for hourly submission protection. If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, the relevant communication service processes that contact separately.
Why we use data and our lawful bases
We use the details you provide to review your request, respond and discuss possible support. Depending on the purpose, processing may rely on your consent or steps taken at your request before entering an engagement.
We may rely on legitimate interests for proportionate website security, preventing misuse and managing business communications, after considering the impact on your rights. Legal obligations may require certain records. Where optional analytics or cookies require consent, they should be used only after that consent is obtained.
We do not treat an enquiry as permission to send unrelated marketing. The final policy must identify the actual purposes and lawful bases for each enabled activity.
How long we keep data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for its purpose, relevant legal obligations and the handling of disputes. Enquiry and engagement records should be reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Closed enquiries are eligible for admin deletion after 24 months by default; authorised admins can change this period. Deletion is performed through the admin inbox rather than automatically.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside Nigeria. Before making a restricted international transfer, we must assess the destination and applicable protections under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, including adequate protection or another lawful transfer mechanism. Relevant safeguards, provider locations and information about obtaining those safeguards should be confirmed in the final policy.
Security
We aim to use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including limited access and appropriate provider arrangements. No website or communication channel is completely secure. Avoid including sensitive information in an initial enquiry and contact us to discuss an appropriate channel when necessary.
Your data protection rights
Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing in relevant circumstances and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, email privacy@lextechker.com with your request. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. We will explain any lawful limitation and respond in accordance with applicable requirements.
Questions and complaints
You can raise a concern with us using the privacy contact above. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, without first having to resolve the matter with us.
Visit the NDPC official website for current complaint guidance and contact details. Its privacy violation and breach reporting portal provides a route for reporting data protection concerns.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, processing activities or legal requirements change. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Material changes should be brought to your attention where required.
